PROGRAMMES & TRAINING

Motivation Camps (3 Days 2 Nights)
This camp is aimed for UPSR, PT3, SPM and STPM students. The objective of this camp is to expose them with the importance of education among Indians. These camps are conducted by graduates and under graduates from universities and teaching institutes.
The modules are based on Personal Development Program(PDP) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which are all conducted by Vivekkam Trainers, addressing various development need of university students. The main objectives are to facilitate students' personal fulfilment in the Academic achievement and also to develop further their pathway towards success in the as a graduate. training content may include: creative & critical thinking, learning strategies, time management, love & dating, teamwork, EQ & AQ, stress management and personality testing and also our own community History from India to Malaysia.

Educational Awareness Seminar(1 Days)
1 day Motivational program- this session is conducted by our dedicated speakers. It touches mainly on issues involving Indian Students and the significance of education. The session includes workshops and open discussions on major issues raised among the participants. The objectives and topic of discussion varies looking at external factors such as socio-education, economy, political environment and family background. The Modules operandi for each seminar is discussed beforehand by the Head trainers of the team.

Follow- Up Camps
Follow up- it is a one day high positive motivational program to those who have went through the 3 days camps. This camp is aimed to monitor students’ progress and will be given power packed motivation. This camp would also be the final boost for the students before they sit for their final exams. They will be visiting major venues in USM and some may have the chance to spectate the USM convocation ceremony in live. This helps the students to motivate themselves.

Parents Talk
Parents Talk, a program dedicated to educating parents about their crucial role in their child's life. As parents, we understand that you want the best for your child, and we are here to help you achieve that goal.Our program is designed to provide you with valuable insights and knowledge about your responsibility towards your child's development. We believe that parents play a significant role in shaping their child's future, and it is our mission to empower parents with the tools they need to make a positive impact on their child's life.
In addition to focusing on your role as a parent, we also keep you up-to-date with the current political, educational, and economic status of our society in Malaysia. We believe that it is essential for parents to be aware of the world around them, as this knowledge can help them make informed decisions about their child's future. At Parents Talk, we believe that every parent has the potential to make a positive impact on their child's life. We are here to support and guide you on your parenting journey, and we look forward to helping you build a brighter future for your child.

White Lily
Academic was our main concern among the Indian youth but another virus was viral which was seen a pattern from our camps that is social issues. In order to combat that issue, Vivekkam created a new program for young Indian girls in Penang with the name White Lily. With the mission to empower those girls with self-esteem, knowledge and rights the first batch of White Lily 1.0 was successfully conducted on the 5th to 7th October 2012 at Penang with the support of Prof.Dr.P. Ramasamy.
A few NGOs collaborated with us such as PDRM, AADK, CASP, WCC and Brahma Kumaris to make this program impactful to achieve our mission. A follow-up White Lily 1.0 was conducted on the 13th November 2013 for the first batch to update on their progress, provide them with motivation and to share issues with our trained facilitators. This was again successfully conducted in Penang.

Vetri Nayagan
Handling Indian Youth in Malaysia is becoming a dreadful dilemma to everyone especially policy makers. This has triggered PVM to coin a comprehensive module in order to train our Indian boys to lead a respectful life. This new approach in handling these youths is names Vetri Nayagan, successfully conducted for 106 boys in November 2013 in Penang. With its ultimate mission to empower Indian boys with self-esteem, knowledge and awareness of their responsibilities, Vetri Nayagan focuses in the future of these youth in a holistic manner.

Career Guidance
Our program is designed to help individuals explore their career options and make informed decisions about their future. Whether you're a recent graduate, under graduate , or someone looking to make a career change, our program has something to offer.
Our program includes personalized one-on-one sessions with a career counselor who will work with you to identify your strengths, interests, and goals. We'll also help you identify potential career paths and provide resources to help you learn more about those careers.
Our goal is to help you achieve career success and fulfillment. We believe that everyone has the potential to find a career that they love, and we're here to help you make that happen.

Boomerang
BOOMERANG, designed specifically for Vivekkam participants in our educational programs who are either pursuing or have enrolled in tertiary education. Our aim is to develop these young individuals into responsible citizens who are committed to giving back to society. Through a range of training and awareness programs, we will equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact on our community. We believe that this program will not only benefit our participants but also contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.

Training of Trainers Camp (2 Days)
TOT- training of trainers is conducted only for those who are interested to serve our community. Following our policy, only undergraduates and graduates are encouraged to participate in this 2 days training. Training will be given by the trained speakers and participants will be given hands-on experience to the modules.
The major aim of this training is to train participants who have the competence and the motivation to contribute to our society and also self-improvement in PDP Skills. Within this Training of Trainers Camp (ToT Camp), participants have the chance to develop further their competence as a Vivekkam Facilitator.
he educational approach implemented in the ToT Camp intends to allow these different needs to be identified and pursed. At the core of this process is the competence of the participant to direct his/her own learning. The group as a source for peer learning and the trainers as facilitators of these learning processes are essential pillars of this approach.

Youth Empowerment Symposium
Youth Empowerment Symposium(YES), Vivekkam’s another significant project seeks to establish an environment and effective platform where youth may exercise authentic participation and pursuit their own visions, dreams, hopes, and concerns pertaining to development and overall well-being. The programme activities are grounded on the fundamental evidence that youth can become the drivers of change in the society they are living if their potential are being maximized. Together with diversed stakeholders, YES aimed to take actions that result in productive and sustainable livelihood for youngsters and ensuring youth transition well into adulthood with the skills, capacities and capabilities.
As future leaders of the world, youth “should be more aware of the problems in society and lead efforts to solve them.” When facing a historical crossroads, youths have to raise their voices and think about what kind of nation and society you want to make. This symposium will be platform for youths from different background and economical status to gain knowledge on issues sorrounding them and support system that available while discover effective ways to improve their lives.
